The Experience
If you’ve ever wanted to try dance but felt unsure where to start, Intro to Commercial Jazz is your structured, supportive way in. This 6-week beginner course introduces you to the world of Commercial Jazz — blending classic jazz foundations with the fun, expressive energy of music-video performance. Designed for absolute beginners (or those returning after a long break), the course builds confidence safely and steadily, without rushing or overwhelm. Each class begins with structured, beginner-appropriate warm-ups focusing on posture, mobility, alignment, and core technique foundations such as turns, lines, extensions, and musical awareness. From there, you’ll learn simple choreography step-by-step at a comfortable pace, with plenty of repetition and guidance to help everything click. This course is beginner-friendly by design — not just in level, but in approach. You’ll learn how to move with control, find clean shapes, build rhythm, and express yourself with confidence. Along the way, you’ll develop coordination, balance, and technique foundations that set you up beautifully for future Beginner-level classes, should you choose to continue. In Week 6, you’ll have the option to take part in an in-studio filmed moment — a chance to celebrate your progress, capture your growth, and step into your performer energy. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to start dancing, this is it. This course is your entry point — and the foundation everything else builds from.

Booking Policy
PR Urban Dance – Booking Policy Bookings & Payments All classes, courses, and appointments must be booked and paid for in advance. Your spot is not secured until payment is completed. Bookings are non-transferable unless approved by PR Urban Dance. Cancellations – Casual Classes & Appointments Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled class. Late cancellations (within 12 hours) or no-shows forfeit the class. No refunds are issued for missed classes, late cancellations, or no-shows. We keep this policy in place to protect teacher wages, venue hire, and limited class capacity. Intro Courses & Multi-Week Courses Course bookings are non-refundable once the course has commenced, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions. If you need to withdraw before the course begins, please contact us as early as possible. Missed sessions within a course are not refundable and cannot be carried over unless otherwise stated. Transfers & Exceptional Circumstances In rare circumstances (e.g. medical or compassionate reasons), we may offer a credit at our discretion. Any credits issued are time-limited and non-transferable. Class Changes & Cancellations by PR Urban Dance PR Urban Dance reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class if required. If a class is cancelled by us, you will receive a credit or refund for that session. Filming & Media Some classes and courses may be filmed for promotional or educational purposes.
